Organisation Context

• Solid Line Reporting to: EMIA LSCM Finance Lead.
• Member of the EMIA Operations Finance Team.
• Activities cover operations in the Europe, Middle East, Russia, South Africa, India.
• Location: Zaventem, Belgium.
  

Purpose

The LSCM EMIA Senior Financial Analyst supports with an high degree of autonomy the LSCM EMIA Finance Lead in the business control activities for LSCM HQ OPEX, LSCM EU CAPEX, LSCM EU Finished Goods Inventory, and LSCM EU Operational KPIs.

Job Content

• LSCM HQ Cost Centres Opex Controlling
  

Accountable of the monthly closing process for LSCM HQ Cost Centres, preparation of the monthly LSCM Performance packages for LSCM Headquarter Organization, analyse costs, identify and comment deviations from forecasts/budgets.

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for HQ OPEX Cost Centres (~15M€/ year) in close cooperation with LSCM Department Heads and Project Leaders, enabling the LSCM Finance Lead to perform actual, forecast and budget reviews with senior management.

• Finished Goods Inventory Excess Inventory and Obsolescence Provision
  

Develops, review and enhance financial and non-financial analyses focusing on Finished Goods Inventory and Obsolescence across European Distribution Centres.

Drives the adoption of insight based, high quality decision making throughout managerial reporting for Finished Goods Inventory.

Holds the accountability for the inventory obsolescence and excess provision calculation across the European LSCM Finished Goods warehouses.

• EMIA Logistics Capex Financial Control
  

Acts as a Senior Financial Analyst interacting with LSCM Regional Business Controllers as well as business counterparts in LSCM, Finance, BEBS, Corporate Finance across Europe to prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly actuals.

Reviews LSCM European Capital Appropriation Requests and prepare/validate associated financial analysis before sign-off from the LSCM Finance Lead.

• LSCM Performance Cockpit Owner
  

Drives and optimizes the monthly reporting of European Performance Management Cockpit, a Qlik based repository that collects operational key metrics.

Plays a key role in communicating timelines to the LSCM team, driving operational efficiency, providing timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.

• Compliance Support
  

Accountability to prepare and collect approvals for the Inventory Adjustments across European Distribution Centres on a monthly basis.

Accountability to verify and validate finished goods scrapping requests on a daily basis.

Education: University Degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering)

Previous Work Experiences

• 5 years of work experience in business controlling roles in industrial companies.
• Experience in handling large data sets, excellent analytical skills & ability to convert data into information.
• ERP systems knowledge, preferably in SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, SAP BW, SAP Queries).
• Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, Qlik and AFO.
• Experience with working in a matrix organization / complex international business environment.
