Senior Financial Analyst

Janssen Business Services (JBS) belongs to the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. JBS is a global organization located in Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland and Singapore. Within JBS, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Janssen business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures.

Located in Beerse (Belgium), we are a team of all-round finance professionals with a special focus on campus support services, technical finance capabilities and strategic business partnering.

Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Reporting team.

Your tasks
  • Support BE GAAP reporting and ensure statutory compliance of the most significant Belgian legal entities, of which Janssen Pharmaceutica NV. This includes, but is not limited to annual accounts, statutory adjustments, quarterly analysis & reporting, surveys, J&J annual report, ...
  • Preparation of the information provided to the Worker’s Council and Board of Directors
  • Close collaboration with tax teams in preparation of the tax declaration and support of tax audits
  • Participate in the cash flow forecasting process
  • Support finance transformation projects for the areas within your responsibility (SigniFi)
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose scenario’s on how to implement
  • Support internal and external auditors with the execution of required activities related to processes under your responsibility.
  • Keep all work instructions, SOP’s and other documentation for audit controls (internal audit, PWC) compliant and ensure all processes are aligned in a changing environment.
Qualifications

Your profile
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Critical mindset: ability to challenge, improve and optimize current processes and assumptions
  • High energy, flexible, result-oriented, capable of working independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, experience with SAP, Power BI is welcome
  • Audit experience and/or experience in BE GAAP accounting is a plus
