A company active in the Mobility sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Financial Modelling Expert to join their offices in Brussels. As the new Senior Financial Modelling Expert, you will work very closely with the CEO, CFO and other directors of the organisation and have an essential role in this evolving company by overseeing and producing financial models for all the company’s management teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Make all the economic, financial and organisational analysis to assist the management teams in their decisions
- Develop simulation models, management tools and controls instruments related to the company’s activities
- Advise the Management Boards and the Finance Business Partners in achieving their economic and financial objectives
- Support the departments in understanding, interpreting and using economic data
- Design the financial, functional and technical architecture of the analytical financial models of the company
- Carry out complex studies and quantitative analyses for the management
- Present and explain the results of financial models in a pedagogical way
- Provide expertise in the design of dashboards and KPIs
- Participate in the audits of decision support information systems and make proposals for their improvement
Your profile:
- You have a Master’s degree in management sciences, economic, finance or mathematics
- You have at least 5 years of experience, specifically with certain IT tools such as MS Business Intelligence, Power BI or MS XLS
- You have experience in a consulting firm and are looking for a first step in-house.
- You are bilingual French/Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English

- You are able to carry out quick simulation in an emergency situation in order to answer questions from management in the context of negotiations and decision making
- You enjoy working in a complex and evolving environment were continuous improvement and optimisation are key
- You are creative, innovative, rigorous and you have good analytical skills
