Join our Finance and Accounting team as a Senior GL Accountant in our office in Leuven, where you’ll play a key role in financial analysis and reporting for our EMEA business area. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll drive month-end closures, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with the finance community to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting.
• Enhance financial processes through standardisation and automation.
• Collaborate with EMEA finance teams to implement shared services and best practices.
• Manage local vs. IFRS reporting differences, prepare variance analyses, and ensure accurate accruals.
• Oversee statuatory accounts filing, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders for compliance.
• Support the Finance Manager in transfer pricing documentation and statutory/tax obligations.
• Provide adhoc financial analyses and support the business controlling teams on balance sheet insights.

About You:

• Bachelor in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in ERP software.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on financial expertise.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
