• Undertake a market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market size and growth – euros, units, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share development, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness); competitor characteristics; prescriber characteristics.
• Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials (print and electronic).
• Work with Regulatory to ensure that the content of all promotional material is fully supported by the Product Information and literature, and in accordance with the guidance offered by the company’s Code of Conduct.
• Undertake strategic market planning analysis by identifying foreseeable threats to avoid and opportunities to pursue, environmental analysis, customers to serve, competitors to challenge, product characteristics on which the business will compete, market segmentation and product positioning analysis.
• Conduct research on new and established markets, forecast changes in the market environment, seek and develop areas of business opportunities.
• Work with the customer facing associates to analyze customer questions, identify trends and recommend appropriate actions to the Marketing Manager.
• Work collaboratively with medical associate to plan post-marketing surveillance studies to capture clinical data on safety parameters in local populations.
• Work collaboratively with sales reps to plan and implement product training programs to enable the medical practitioners to evaluate and become familiar with the product.
• Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product.
• Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products.
• Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in medical department and external regulatory partner to address any issues that may arise.
• Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally.
• Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions. Either conduct this research with in-house staff or manage an outside agency i.e. initial identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities, communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.
• Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and for controlling advertising, promotion, and sales aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
• Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and interstate warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelines.
  

• Make sales grow. lncrease Market Shares of the products with direct lead role (or contributor role)
• Presentation of & participation in the Belux marketing strategy
• Ensure a good execution of the Marketing plans & actions, taking into account deadlines & budgets & regulatory guidance.
• Develop successful marketing campaigns taking in accounts customer and customer facing colleagues’ feedback.
• Participate in, organization of international & national events, TEC’s, relation with KOL, both live and remote (digital).
• Be one of the main contact person for Medical Affairs (Adverse effects, medical inquiries,…)
• You are an experienced PM (knowledge of ophthalmology is an additional asset);
• You speak fluently both national languages and English;
• You are passionated about your job and you listen to the different stakeholders;
• You are able to take initiatives contributing to the development of the market shares of the products for which you will be responsible by a direct role or as a contributor;
• You are willing to come and work at the company’s headquarters located in Wetteren knowing that there is a possibility of telecommuting 1x/week depending on the needs of the department.
