Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Researcher at AQUATREAT. As a Senior Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting extensive research on water treatment technologies and developing innovative solutions for water problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and generate technical reports. This role requires a strong scientific background and the ability to work independently. While the role is primarily located in Aarschot, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in water treatment research and development
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, including corrosion control and microbiological management
  • Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and technical report writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Experience in the water treatment industry is a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English, eventually German and Spanish
