About Chorus

Chorus is a WA based organisation with close to 1000 team members and volunteers who support seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey and those living with disability. Our purpose is to enable people to live the life they choose at home and in the community. We’ve designed a structure that focuses less on management and hierarchy and more on the things that matter: relationships, customers, and communities. About The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Specialist - People & Culture to coach and support leaders to build a high-performance culture. You will become a trusted specialist advisor to the business, with the ability to liaise and collaborate with Chorus people at all levels and prepare high quality specialist advice in the areas of:
  • Recruitment & selection
  • Employment relations
  • Performance management
  • Remuneration & benefits
  • Policies & procedures process improvement
  • Grievance & complaint management
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experienced in interpreting Awards and helping to ensuring Chorus compliance;
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in interpreting and applying HR principles, processes and procedures, with a strong customer focus.
  • Exceptional influencing and relationship building skills;
  • Positively promote the organisation and represent our culture and core purpose;
  • An awesome work ethic, which includes energy, attention to detail and self-motivation;
This role involves frequent travel to Chorus sites to meet with Chorus Leaders and assist them with advice and guidance. You will have the opportunity to work from home when you aren’t on site.

Prerequisites
  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or Organisational Psychology
  • At least 8-10 years’ experience in People / HR
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret Awards
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • NDIS Workers Screening check
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current Western Australian Drivers Licence & own vehicle
