Toyota Parts Centre Europe (TPCE) is our central distribution centre, at the heart of our parts supply chain. Located in Diest (Belgium), TPCE is responsible for Total Supply Chain Management – that means it organises both when and how parts are received into the warehouses, the process by which they are selected, picked and loaded to meet orders, and the transport logistics required for shipping them efficiently to the right place, at the right time. The office part of the operation looks after matters such as procurement, inventory control, customer support, quality, packaging and planning. Meanwhile the team in the warehouse is responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, picking, packing and loading parts for shipment. On average, around 527,000 parts and accessories are received and shipped each day.

Parts Supply Chain Group mission is to deliver the right product (service parts, accessories and information) at the right time, through lean integrated logistics, exceeding Customer & Stakeholder expectation, with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

These parts arrive from different suppliers or plants all over the world to Diest (Belgium), where they are distributed directly to the final customer or to our Regional Depots/ National sales companies.

Our Network structure staffs 1500 Toyota members, we deliver to over 3500 garages and 44 regional warehouses within Europe, Belarus and North Africa.

Division/Department Description

You will be part of Operations Control Division, Operations Management Transportation department.

Our Mission is being a high-performing, engaged, dynamic, skilled, and self-managing Toyota-team, organising and managing international & retail transports to deliver parts and accessories to the regional warehouses and facing dealers, in a cost efficient manner with minimal impact on environment and safety, exceeding our Customers & Stakeholders expectations.

Your Responsibilities

Your area of responsibility will be our International Inbound and Outbound transport flows of Toyota & Lexus Spare Parts and Accessories

Your Core Tasks Will Be

• Budget and Cost management (prepare yearly and mid-term budgets, perform quarterly reviews, prepare monthly cost meetings, drive cost saving (kaizen) processes)
• Execute requests for quotation/information and analyse vs logistics requirements (lead for TRD Int’l-side in collaboration with Purchasing, Logistics Partners (LP), and stakeholders)
• Investigate and implement Cost Kaizen (define costdown opportunities, drive the overall plan)
• LP Performance management (manage appointed underperforming LP(’s) vs KPI’s set) towards a sustainable operational set up for different business aspects
• Participate in specific projects ilw agreed tasks and schedules
