Senior Topline Controller

Danone BeLux is looking for the Finance Business partner of the Topline teams across our Specialized Nutrition and Waters categories.

In this role, you support to define the strategy by Channel & Customer and challenge the consistency of resource allocation accordingly.

You co-pilot the optimization of return on investment of promotion, trade terms and other topline activation levers along with Topline team.

You lead key financial data and analysis of actuals and forecasting process related to customer and channel.

Your Mission

In this role you will:

• Oversee and support closing analysis and performance review. Ensure the month-end close is reliable and compliant with accounting rules
• Ensure local tools (TTM, Essbase…) are up-to-date in order to reflect the commitments and a genuine Customer and Channel split
• GPS cycle and short term Trend review – SPOC for Specialised Nutrition and Waters categories business teams
• Drive topline performance through specific ad hoc analysis and recommendations of which:
  • Trade spends and Rebates governance with PRGM team
  • Customer strategy and P&L; Channel trade spend reviews; Business cases for new TT or RTM
  • SPOC for Pharmacy & Specialist Retail, and SNU Healthcare Channels
• Establish & support Group reporting of items in scope such as:
  • Month-end close and Rolling Forecast
  • Other ad hoc group reporting

Experience Required

• University degree Business Economics or Business School
• Minimum 6 years proven track record within Sales/Business controlling and/or Financial Audit
• Experience in business partnering with sales/marketing teams
• Fluency in controlling tools: SAP, TTM, BluePlanner, Essbase, Excel…
• First experience in managing a team is a plus (2 direct reports)
