We create new technologyto immerse audiences in visual experiences they will never forget. The markets in which our immersive experience technologies are used range from live events, over theme parks and museums to flight simulators. Our immersive experiences R&D organisation focusses on developing projectionand image processing technologies to make these immersive experiences come to life for our customers all over the world.

Function

The successful candidate will join a startup team working on next generation image processing products. These products perform real time video and image processing and compositing for display on LED, projection and other displays. These products are part of highly visible systems in environments such as corporate events, rock concerts, television studios, trade shows and fixed installations. The candidate will take responsibility for the quality completion of designated software features and design suitable solutions to complex problems while working as a member of the Image Processing R&D team.

Key Responsibilities
  • You design and implement software modules based on customer or internal specifications and product requirements
  • You define and implement automated unit testing and maintain your work in a continuous integration environment
  • You collaborate with the test development engineers to follow-up, discuss and solve software issues
  • You collaborate with the team to deliver functionality using agile development methodology (SCRUM)
  • You provide proficient documentation for the developed software modules
  • You deliver product quality in time while following testing and coding standards
  • Collaboration with geographically distributed teams (Europe, US)

Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage assigned tasks
  • Ability to work well with other team members on a global team
  • Experience with following is a must:
    • 3 years professional experience with C++ software design and implementation
    • Multithreaded programming
    • Software development in a Linux environment
  • Experience with one or more of the following is considered a benefit:
    • Contributions to open source projects
    • STL, Boost, Qt, GStreamer, OpenCV
    • Network programming or/and media streaming applications
    • Video and audio encoding/decoding
    • GPU programming
    • Software build automation and version control tools
