Le Pristine and Le Pristine Café opened its doors in the summer of 2020 in the fashion center of Antwerp as an à la carte restaurant and walk-in bar. A few months after opening, it was awarded its first Michelin Star. Le Pristine is a holistic hospitality experience where an eye for detail and quality are the common thread. In the kitchen, Sergio and his chefs pay tribute to Italy with a nod to his own Zeeland origins. The combination of food, fashion, design, art and music make Le Pristine an unprecedented contemporary concept in Antwerp.


As souschef, you assist the Chef in organizing, delegating and controlling the daily work in the kitchen.


TASKS

  • Managing the kitchen team.
  • Organize and coordinate the work of the kitchen team.
  • Preparing and developing menus, creating dishes.
  • The pre-calculation and subsequent calculation of dishes.
  • Training and coaching of employees.
  • Managing the stock.
  • Checking kitchen activities such as mise-en-place, preparations, storage and cleaning.
  • Assist with all kitchen activities.
  • Guaranteeing quality and taste.
  • Ensuring order and tidiness in the kitchen.
  • Supervising compliance with safety, Arbo and HACCP regulations.
