As Statistical Forecasting Senior Manager, You Are Responsible For
  • executing advanced computational approaches to build novel and innovative models using advanced analytics techniques.
  • developing effective forecasting models
  • sharing trends and providing insights on risks/opportunities.
  • working with the customer services regional heads to enrich the models with market intelligent.
  • supporting the business strategic imperative on forecasting and demand processes.
Your Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the development and maintenance of global Vaccines sales and forecasting reporting and dashboards providing real-time visibility and KPI’s (YTD vs YTG sales, SFA and sales forecast bias)
  • Review and analyse volume/value data evolution, historical sales trends, outliers and develop statistical forecast models
  • Work with Customer Sevices to incorporate market intelligence and analyse and report on major changes in sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Support management with risk and opportunity assessments and mitigation plans
  • Define and implement solutions together with the customer services team to improve demand forecast accuracy/bias.
  • Evaluate and deploy advanced analytics techniques and tools to develop effective forecasting models
  • Align with business strategic imperative to drive maturity in forecasting and demand processes
  • Bring the outside in and maintain awareness of leading edge forecasting practices through benchmarking and external collaboration.
  • Builds connections to pharma supply to share best practice, solution and identify synergies for future automation and maturity improvement.
  • SME on statistical analytics modelling and demand forecasting principle

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor degree with a specialization in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical engineering or Computer Science; Industrial Engineering, Chemical or Biologicals and engineering, Supply Chain Management
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Process automation and process redesigning tools and techniques including AI and RPA
  • supply chain experience gained in working with a variety of disciplines throughout the supply chain, preferably in regulated industry / Pharmaceuticals
  • Experience with people related topics (leading teams, matric working,)
  • Demonstrated matrix leadership skills including, influencing others, driving change and facilitating business events and trainings.
  • Demonstrated effective, written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and project teams to identify novel solutions to specific project-related needs.
  • Experience with digital processes and systems: learning for and in a digital environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • Knowledge of financial basics
  • Diligent, attention to detail and ability to apply high standards to own work.
  • Lean Management or Change management certificates are a plus
  • Learning mindset and flexibility to adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Future oriented, visionary
  • Accountability and self-motivation; ambition to win
  • High levels of resilience and personal energy and an ability to energise others.
  • Be a role model for continuous capability build and be up to date with modern technology
  • Experience with AGILE project methodology
Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
  • Master degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Big Data and Analytics, Statistic, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field; Life sciences or Engineering, project management, Business administration
