For the domain IT, you will be the key figure between the strategic and the tactical-operational part for all things related to IT security. A solid challenge for an experienced networker such as you.

As a Strategic Expert Cybersecurity you will start working at the IT Security department of Colruyt Group IT. This department offers advice and support to better implement security within the organisation. The management and elaboration of our security tooling as well as the SOC activities are also taken up here.

Around 75 co-workers work in the Service Centre IT Security.

Your position exists of two roles:

VAK area responsible IT Security

• You translate strategy and vision to the tactical level: you build roadmaps and give direction to the experts that are involved in the operational elaboration of the domain. You offer them policy frameworks and guidelines, sharp priorities, and you challenge them during the elaboration of methods or processes. In other words, you will be the owner and responsible of the IT security roadmap within Colruyt Group.
• You will report to the management and audit committee.
• You will give substantive direction to the activities of the VAK centres and take the lead in projects as regards content.
• You will validate capability solutions that are elaborated further by the VAK centres and watch over the application of them in all IT departments.
• You will manage the knowledge and methodology around IT Security and you will build both an external and an internal network.

VAK centre responsible IT Security

• You will lead a team of experts in the field of IT Security.
• You will build this team and ensure that all necessary competences are present.
• You will focus on craftsmanship and job satisfaction.

You will work in Halle, Deinze or Haasrode, and you can work at home up to three days a week.

Profile:

• Knowledge and experience - You have experience in IT Security. You know how this is organised in a corporate environment and you can convert a strategy into roadmaps. Experience in project management and affinity with the corporate culture of Colruyt Group is a big plus.
• You keep your footing - Every day, you operate at a high level, which is why you have to stand firm, not only in terms of content, but also as a person. You radiate confidence and maturity to all your stakeholders.
• Convincing networker - You have a good feel for your discussion partners and stakeholders, you mobilise energy easily, and you are able to take others along in your vision in a convincing manner. You make contacts easily and are a born networker. Substantive work gives you energy and you feel perfect in an connecting job.
• People manager - You can steer your co-workers, make them stronger in their jobs and motivate them. You create a positive mindset and a delivery focus.
• Strong communication skills - You communicate easily and clearly and you have experience with communicating at the highest management level. You are accessible and you know what language to speak to whom.
• Languages - English is a necessity. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
