Then we have the perfect role for you. For our Strategy & Insights team we are looking for an ambitious fulltime Strategic Insights Associate for our office in Strombeek-Bever, Belgium.

About The Role

The Strategic Insights Associate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting market and JTI volume performance, SOM, pricing, and other relevant segment developments. The person in this position will create, maintain, report and advice on the market and JTI performance as well as report and advice on consumer and trade insights. In addition, he/she will support the key marketing/sales business decisions by understanding the business well and providing data-based business analysis and consultancy.

Responsibilities
  • Follow-up on wholesale data delivery/ Ensure data quality and product database accuracy/ Product-shop linking/ Maintain and manage monthly market performance reporting according to set standards/ Monthly deliverables to HQ
  • Actively support with the forecast of market/segment dynamics, preparation of annual plans, presentations
  • Champion the development of the portfolio & trade strategies by providing relevant information and insights on key market and segment developments, competitive insights and consumer knowledge
  • Close collaboration with other cross-functional stakeholders, including the Sales team
  • Support the agile team in the management of product and packaging activities, including operational market implementation of new introductions, product changes, price changes, and/or line extensions
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • University Degree in Management, Economics or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience within FMCG or Management Consulting companies or Sales functions with strong analytical and reporting background
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written, Fluent French or Dutch would be a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office literacy (especially Excel) and Access
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI would be an asset
