The position has responsibility to lead the strategic planning process, research industry sectors and analyze markets and competitors, then work with key resources globally to develop their business strategy and deployment plans and ensure alignment to corporate strategy. The Strategy Analyst will support the cross-functional global leadership team in identifying potential new growth opportunities, acquisition targets, and new markets to enter.This position is based in our EMEA HQ in Leuven (Belgium), but we are open for candidates based in different EU regions.Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage the strategic planning process for the Mobile Solutions Aftermarket Business. This includes process development and refinement, market intelligence analysis, and plan development with various entities/businesses around the world. Facilitate strategic planning sessions, including design, analysis, discussion, and decision making.
  • Develop and propose market segment customer-centric business strategies, in coordination with the regional and global business leaders, to drive profitable growth across the portfolio. This includes review and analysis of current strategies and identifying key improvement initiatives to support profitable growth. Actively prioritize projects, including company-wide initiatives.
  • Assess market segment and industry attractiveness, competitive advantage, market share, competitor analysis and value chain analysis. Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth. Analyze market demand activity, trends and factors impacting financial performance. Coordinate research efforts with global and regional marketing leaders.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers to understand market needs and business potential and identify how to offer a differentiated value proposition in the market.
  • Develop business plans for potential new growth opportunities and acquisition strategies to supplement our organic growth plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master degree in Technical, Finance or Marketing or equivalence through experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in business development, strategy, marketing or related function
  • Fluent English communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA strongly preferred (with 5+ years of applicable experience)
  • Proven ability in strategic planning and business development
  • Cross-functional collaboration and partnership-building
  • Strong communication skills – written, oral, presentation and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to analyze, plan, organize, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Results orientated, driven, self-starter
  • Innovative, creative, bring new ideas to the table
  • Analytical, strong problem-solving skills
  • Team building and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and collaborate at all levels in the organization
