About The Role

At Companions our common goal is to guide the development of our portfolio companies. To help us succeed in this endeavor, we are looking for the best qualified colleagues. And of course, finding those colleagues is a huge challenge in itself.

To help our team grow as efficiently and sustainably as possible, we would be very happy to welcome a motivated talent sourcer to our team.

At Companions, talent acquisition is a team effort. So is the process of sourcing of candidates. Together we define sourcing strategies and divide responsibilities. And rest assured: there’s more out there than LinkedIn.

Depending on your aspirations and your evolution in the role, it is possible to take on broader talent acquisition responsibilities.

We would love to hear fromyou if you…

  • Are currently pursuing a degree with a focus on economics (TEW, Business Engineering…) or communication (Communication Sciences, Marketing) and have a genuine interest in talent sourcing. A first experience within talent sourcing/acquisition would be an added bonus.
  • Don’t mind the grind. Sourcing is a marathon, not a sprint. So, you should enjoy taking a deep plunge into the specifics of each profile.
  • Love to get creative. A great talent sourcer sets himself apart by finding diversity in similarity. This can be translated into insights into different (out of the box) sourcing approaches, lessons learned, personalized introductory messages to candidates… This input will also be used in defining proactive sourcing strategies for the future.
  • Are a people person at heart and actively look to build personal connections: both with your colleagues and potential candidates.
  • Enjoy working in an environment that is "informal, but professional".
  • Are able to work at our Kontich office at least once every week.
  • Are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English, French is a plus.
