Apsida Life Sciences has partnered with a global clinical study consulting company for an exciting paediatric clinical study that will run for a duration of 9 months based in Belgium.

Position: Study Nurse (Freelance/Part-Time)

Location: Belgium(Home visits required – patients located just outside Brussels

Duration: 9 months

Study Overview:

We are seeking an experiencedStudy Nurse to support a pediatric clinical research study focusing on Tuberous Sclerosis Complex or Focal Cortical Dysplasia. The role involves conducting home visits to facilitate study procedures, ensuring compliance with protocol requirements, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform anthropometric measurements (height, weight, BMI calculation)
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Conduct ECG assessments
  • Collect and document adverse events
  • Record concomitant medications
  • Perform blood draws and sample collection
  • Administer urine pregnancy tests (if required)
  • Support patients/caregivers with eDiary reviews
  • Assist with questionnaires and other study-related documentation

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse with experience in clinical research (pediatrics preferred)
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy (blood draws) and ECG administration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and travel for home visits
  • Familiarity with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines
