DEME is a global solutions provider in a challenging and rapidly changing world. Our expertise and vast experience has been deployed over the centuries for dredging, environmental and marine engineering business solutions such as: port construction and improving maritime access worldwide. As a site superintendent you can play an important part in these works. You’ll have a broad range of tasks in our global or Benelux projects.

Your responsibilities

  • You will report to the works or project manager;
  • You are responsible of the daily management of small projects or part of bigger projects (project planning and coordination, management of change);
  • You define the most efficient and cost-effective dredging methodology in cooperation with the project and vessel management team;
  • You are responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the QHSE standard;

Your profile

  • You preferably have a master’s degree in civil engineering or similar by experience;
  • You are a natural leader and results-driven;
  • You are communicative, a problem-solver and you attach great importance to good teamwork;
  • You are flexible, take initiative and like variation in your duties;
  • You are willing to work on different projects worldwide (on average 8 months per year);
  • You can express yourself fluently in English. Other languages are a plus.
