QUALIFICATION SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the essential tasks and responsibilities of the Supply Chain Administrator is to efficiently create and maintain the part codes and bills of material in the M3 operating system to support manufacturing, procurement, planning and customer care operations.

EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in a Business, Engineering or Supply Chain discipline, or similar through experience
  • Experience (min 3 years) in a relevant part code and BOM or equivalent work environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Kanban, MRP planning systems required
  • Manufacturing experience of complex products preferred
  • Excellent working and practical computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) with special focus on Excel.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability
  • Able to read and interpret product drawings, notes and dimensions and convert these to part code formats
  • Capable to operate in global/multi-dimensional environment, understanding ANSI, DIN, Metric design data
  • Good oral and written communications skills at all level
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and a third language (French, German) preferred, any supplementary language is an asset
  • Willing to make occasionally travel abroad
