System Support Specialist (M/F/X)

The System Support Specialist for the Pharma Distribution in Belgium is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the distribution centers. They provide subject matter expert advice on IT/OT equipment, warehouse execution systems, and process design. They handle and resolve system issues and requests related to Clinical and other business stakeholders & products and analyze issue trends. Additionally, they act as the change owner for new enhancements in SAP eWM and eWMS, collaborate with stakeholders to review requirements.

As a specialist in the logistics department, your role includes proactively identifying and implementing process improvements that drive cost efficiencies and enhance overall operational effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to optimize logistics operations.

What do we expect from you?

Responsibilities

 Handle and resolve issues and requests related to Clinical and other business stakeholders & products.

 Provide support to the present system support team in TIER meetings.

 Handle hardware issues and ensure proper qualification and setup of new equipment and peripherals.

 Manage hardware inventory and oversee hardware lifecycle management.

 Administer and manage access for SAP eWM, SAP Europe2, and eWMS, including access reviews and requests.

 Perform stock corrections and set up special instructions in eWM.

 Assist in configuration tasks in eWM.

 Coordinate Quality Investigation for System Support and perform Trackwise assessment for business related projects.

 Act as the change owner for new enhancements in eWM and WCS.

 Collaborate with business stakeholders to review requirements and align them with IT stakeholders for estimation and development.

 Create test scripts and execute User Acceptance Testing for enhancements.

 Present completed UAT to business stakeholders.

 Analyze issue trends and proactively work with IT stakeholders to investigate problems.

 Proactively look for process improvements that lead to business cost improvements and/or efficiency.

 Review and update System Support work instructions and documentation.

 Maintain the Issue Handling sites.

Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of relevant business and system experience.

 Professional communication in Dutch and English.

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Proficiency in handling hardware issues and troubleshooting.

 Knowledge of SAP eWM, SAP Europe2, and eWMS access management.

 Familiarity with change management processes.

 Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

 Experience in technical writing and documentation maintenance would be advantageous.
