Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials NV is wereldwijd fabrikant en verdeler van halffabrikaten (platen, staven en buizen) en eindproducten uit technische kunststoffen, gaande van polyamide en polyester tot hoogwaardige polyimide. Onze producten worden hoofdzakelijk ingezet voor industriële toepassingen.

In onze afdeling Creative Moulding Solutions worden spuitgietproducten ontworpen, geproduceerd en geassembleerd voor volgende industrieën: automotive, electriciteit-electronica, medische industrie en diverse mechanische toepassingen.


Op zoek naar een Team Lead Purchasing

To support the purchasing department to procure in a cost effective way and with ultimate satisfaction of the user we are looking for a Team Leader purchasing for the indirect spending’s who takes the following responsibilities:
  • You take the lead for the “indirect spending’s” categories assigned to you. You determine the European purchasing strategy based on input from the European purchasing team and drives policies/guidelines for his categories. You also guide and support the purchasers, also on an European basis;
  • You follow up the purchase process of plant related goods and services up to and including the actual purchase according to group policies and guidelines. You negotiate, process and monitor the contracts and discuss potential quality issues;
  • You lead a team of 3 buyers;
  • You contribute to process improvement projects in production and take the lead in such projects related to the purchasing processes;
  • You contribute to savings initiatives with regard to purchases.

Wat wordt er van jou verwacht?

  • You have a master’s degree of science (ex. Commercial/industrial engineering, …) with minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in purchasing;
  • You have minimum 5 years’ experience in an international environment;
  • You have a good understanding of the technical aspects (mechanical, electrical, …) within an production environment;
  • You have excellent negotiation skills, also in English;
  • You are a strategic thinker and a good communicator;
  • You are a problem solver and decision maker;
  • You are a flexible multitasker and stress resistant;
  • You are an empathic leader and coach to the team;
  • You are analytical;
  • You have experience with ERP packages;
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language is preferred;
