A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Team Leader Insurance Accounting to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in finance and in insurance, you will be the perfect addition to the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Team Leader Insurance Accounting will include:

  • Guiding the accounting team towards change and into a brand-new way of working
  • Supervising the accounting processes and automatization
  • Helping with the operational insurance accounting such as reconciliation, reporting, analytical review as well as supervision of tax accounting
  • Identifying opportunities to improve team’s knowledge and proactively share needs
  • Working with different departments and product owners on optimising the accounting processes

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s in Accounting or Finance
  • You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in insurance accounting
  • You have previous experience in team leadership and project/change management
  • You are fluent in English and French or Dutch

  • You are proactive and solution oriented
  • You have the ability to manage and resolve conflicts
