What you will do

• You build and maintain effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers — balancing quality, cost, and time requirements.
• You ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships, in line with international standards and internal requirements.
• You ensure a continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems that may pose a risk or have an impact on business operations.
• Working with specs and requirements is crucial as we produce medical devices. This means our purchasing suppliers must be SOx, ISO 13485, and MDR compliant (supplier quality assurance).
• You report to and collaborate closely with the Operations Manager.

Your profile

• You have excellent negotiation skills while maintaining crucial and unique supplier relations.
• You are an excellent team player. You will have to collaborate with technical and non-technical people, both internally and externally.
• You have a good technical understanding and can draft technical specs, and have know-how about the supply chain.
• Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing (AM) and electronics is a big plus.
• You have a good understanding of SQA, as well as an affinity with MDR/ISO13485.
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• You are willing to travel sporadically (mostly in the EU).
• You have experience, preferably in a similar role. However, we are open to receiving a junior profile if you can combine strong commercial skills (e.g., Sales) with a quick and accurate technical understanding (relevant education).
