Job Description
As technical manager,
I take charge of the technical direction of our project, while respecting the standards of our client. I am responsible for delivering web applications using Java EE 6, Websphere, XML, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, REST, SOAP, AngularJS, Struts2, Junit & Maven. Other tools and methodologies used are Gitlab, Jira and Scrum. With this goal in mind, I lead our technical analysis, development, code reviews, release activities, internal meetings, and client meetings. I can preferably count on an experience in the field of GIS, thanks to which I acquired skills within PostGIS, JTS, JSTS and OpenLayers.

I can count on my team of developers whom I supervise and manage, in close collaboration with the project manager. I participate daily in our standups which help me keep up to date with the progress of our project. I provide user story estimates that I break down into technical tasks, and I review my team’s merge requests.

DESCRIPTION
During the project, I am responsible for creating and updating the technical documentation. I am responsible for the releases of the application and I document our release processes via checklists and procedures. I ensure the quality of the application we deliver; I analyze bugs based on stack traces and information received by the customer via support requests. Thanks to my fluent French and English, I am able and not afraid to challenge our clients on technical aspects during the project.

The development team sees me as a strategic and motivating colleague who shares knowledge and stimulates learning and a productive environment within the team. I also encourage my colleagues to make the most of their skills and encourage my colleagues, partners and clients to take up challenges for a broader reach and an innovative approach
