THE SCOPE

As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Test Analyst to join its QC Team.

As a Test Analyst you will be part of Gaming 1’s QC team whose objective is to ensure standardized quality within the development teams to speed up the deployment process. With good IT skills and proven experience in testing, you will join a development team to ensure the documentation of user stories, acceptance criteria, ... prior to development, among other things. Thanks to your sense of priorities and under the supervision of the Test Manager, you are also responsible for risk analysis and prioritization of manual and automated tests.

YOUR ROLE
  • Report bugs, write User Stories and acceptance criteria
  • Write test plans in the test management tool
  • Manage priorities in scenarios and test cases
  • Ensure the preparation of test environments with the developer
  • Understand and edit SQL queries
  • Able to play with XMLs and other FTP or SAAS testing
  • Read technical logs (front or back)
  • Apply technical and vocabulary of ISTQB
  • Identify new tests and actively participate test improvements
  • Participate in risk management and oversee quality insurance principles
  • Prioritization of manual and automated tests
  • Test report to the test coordinator or test manager
  • Actively participate in refinements to have better TDD approach

YOUR PROFILE
  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree focused on Computer Sciences or an equivalent training.
  • You ideally have prior professional experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role.
  • You know and have experience with a test management tool such as TestRail, TestLink, ALM, etc.
  • You understand major ISTQB concepts (test levels, types, …) and have a good understanding of the SDLC
  • You have a good analytical mind.
  • As someone who pays attention to detail, you are very thorough with documentation.
  • Good at communicating, you are also dynamic, proactive, and independent.
  • You speak French and can speak and understand English with ease (minimum level B2).
