Your new team belongs to Production Logistics, which is a part of Group Trucks Operations (GTO). We are an organization of approximately 650 employees, globally connected to deliver logistics solutions with world class operational excellence. We ensure that transportation is purchased, packaging is made available at our supplier, material is transported to our production facilities and vehicles are distributed to our customers on time. We design and optimize the Production Logistics supply chain for the Volvo Group, prepare logistics for new products and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process. Our team is responsible for organizing, monitoring and acting on the transport of materials from our contracted Xdock and supplier premises to our overseas final receivers. We take care of the necessary administration and do all necessary to get all materials to its final destination in time. We do this every day with passion and the real continuous improvement mindset. Do you just love to?

• You are the central contact person handling all kind of operational problems, solving deviations and providing perfect customer service towards our final receivers
• You solve blocked shipments facing incoming quality issues when arriving in our contracted Xdock
• You administrate the containers loaded by our contracted Xdock and containers loaded at supplier premises for destinations all over the world.
• You pro-actively identify deviations in the transport flows and takes the necessary actions to avoid or limit negative impact for our final receivers
• You document and escalate recurrent deviations to the Transport Material Coordinator
• Your operational knowledge is consulted in different projects
• You initiate and drive improvement ideas by using the GEMBA approach, organizing workshops, using PSM/PDCA and other continuous improvement tools.
