The purpose of the role

Assist the Unit Finance Business Partner in ensuring that the business has the necessary information for informed and correct decision-making by developing, maintaining and providing financial information, plans and projections.

This position is based in Somercotes onsite with the possibility to telework 2 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Business Partner – Support and influence business counterparts (a) in achieving financial targets through in-depth analyses, sharing of key financial insights (standard and ad-hoc reporting) and (b) in assuring accurate and accountable data.
  • Reporting and Controlling – Analysis and reporting of financial performance from planned and forecasted results in a timely manner with recommendations where appropriate
  • Financial planning – Includes contributing to forecast, estimates, supporting the business decision-making and developing these into short (Forecast), medium (Budget) and long-term plans (LRP).
  • Take a lead in Ad hoc reports and Process Improvements – In our road to standardization, you will bring insight in process efficiencies and be a contact point to perform ad hoc requests in time
  • Provide financial supporting to other business units and to the European level when required
Requirements
  • Min a bachelor’s degree finance related.
  • Solid experience in a similar financial role
  • Experience with Financial Analysis and accounting practices within a multinational environment
  • Fluency in English. Dutch or Spanish would be valuable.
  • Autonomously conducting financial Planning and Analysis
  • Reporting and working with big data
  • Audit exposure
  • Dealing and collaborating with Senior Management
  • Able to report and work with big data.
