The Intervention Centre in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw is primarily tasked with ensuring the continuity and integrity of the network. To this end, our teams are available 24 hours a day to carry out all kinds of scheduled and unscheduled interventions on our transmission facilities, including adjustments and repairs. The Intervention Centre complies with the ISO 9001 quality standard and SCC (VCA) in all its activities: welded structures, mechanical worksite, logistics and warehouse.

For our intervention center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, we’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant (m/f/x).

  • As Warehouse Assistant, you will help ensure the smooth handling of incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse
  • You will load and unload goods using a range of lifting devices
  • You will receive deliveries, check delivery notes, make sure that deliveries comply with the corresponding notes, and send the documents to the admin team
  • You will thoroughly inspect incoming and outgoing goods and report any and all anomalies and deviations
  • You will collect the goods needed for customer ordersv
  • You will make sure that goods are ready to be dispatched in suitable packaging and with the necessary documents
  • You will take part in (daily/yearly) stock-taking
  • You will process product data in SAP
  • You will be employed at the Intervention Centre in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. You will regularly travel to external warehouses in Belgium
  • You hold a diploma of secondary education
  • You are technically minded and are not afraid to work hard
  • You have a category CE driving licence or are willing to obtain this licence. Experience driving a forklift, reach truck, telehandler or crane would be an advantage
  • You are not afraid of heights, and safety is important to you
  • You are dynamic, proactive and very conscientious in your work
  • You can work with a computer. You are familiar with the scan function, SAP and Excel or are willing to learn to use them
  • You take responsibility for your work
  • You are a team player who can also work independently, you share information and support your colleagues
  • You are fluent in Dutch, or have another native language with an adequate command of Dutch
  • You are very tidy
  • You are willing to eventually be part of a shift/on-call system. Consequently, you live no more than 60 km from the Intervention Centre
  • You communicate well and are flexible
