What will your job as an Account Manager look like?
As account manager, you will be responsible for the sales of the eyetec machine portfolio such as autoclaves, washing machines, isolators, etc. to new and existing customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will report to the sales director.
Your concrete tasks:
- You are responsible for achieving your sales targets.
- You will professionally manage your own customer portfolio, and provide technical, logistical, and practical support.
- Your sales market will be concentrated on pharma, both SMEs and large industrial companies.
- You will take care of sales related administration on a daily basis (keeping track of orders, reporting, updating your action lists, preparing customer visits).
- You are willing to visit customers in Belgium and the Netherlands.
What is expected of you?
You are eligible if:
- You EITHER have a professional bachelor’s degree in industrial sciences, or equivalent through experience, and have sales experience;
- OR you have a professional bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing, or equivalent through experience, and a keen interest in technology.
- You are driven.
- You have a commercial mindset and are punctual.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You are keen on building long-term relationships with your customers (based on trust).
- You have an open, positive, and constructive attitude.
- You can demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- You enjoy visiting your customers.
Job-related competencies
- Providing administrative follow-up of customer acquisition and updating the team.
- Managing follow-up and data analysis of the department or organisation’s activities.
- Developing a progression plan.
- Carrying out commercial activities during events.
- Following up on orders (product availability, delivery times, complaints, etc.) and in addition tending to customers (loyalty actions, satisfaction surveys, reminders, etc.).
- Preparing commercial proposals.
- Negotiating sales agreements and price estimates with customers.
- Contributing to the company’s commercial and marketing strategy.
- Presenting or demonstrating products and advising customers.
- Designing the customer acquisition plan and arranging customer visits.
