Your responsibilities and duties: The Account Manager is responsible for selling the business unit’s products and services and achieving a turnover objective with a group of clients in the pharmaceutical industry. He is in charge of all sales processes: identifying opportunities, presentation, proposal, negotiation, contract preparation. The main missions also include the following:

  • Maintain and develop the client relationship with key decision makers within the client organization
  • Identify client needs and evaluate opportunities to maximize sales of new and existing products/services
  • Maintain a high level of competitive intelligence
  • Identify new clients
  • Organize public relations
  • Apply the strategy of the business
  • Report measurable achievements: prospects, leads, proposals sent… using the CRM
  • Participate in face to face activities: customer events, meals, congresses locally or abroad
This position requires at least two years of experience in a similar role in the health or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Sales minded with good communication skills, you’re a strong negotiator with a perfect organization.
  • You’ll be the first and/or main contact at the client side and as such will develop customer service abilities over time.
  • Spoken languages: Dutch and English, French is a plus.
