We have an excellent career opportunity for a hands-on Accountant to join our HQ Finance team!

As part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing international environment, you will be responsible for the A-Z accounting of our Belgian entity. Your key responsibilities will include

• Preparation, verification and input of all journal entries
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• AP/AR activities
• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
• Support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and monitoring adherence to the approved budget
• Participate in annual audits and special projects

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• A first experience in a similar role in a fast-growing business
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards (both Belgian GAAP & IFRS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Exact Online is a definite plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, collaboration and communication skills
• Hands-on and result-oriented
• Able to work with tight deadlines while being precise and punctual
• Fluent in English and Dutch
