Accountant

An international company in Haren, active in the logistic sector is currently looking to add an accountant to their team. Do you have prior experience working alongside a shared service centre? Do you have prior experience with Greek GAAP? Then don’t hesitate to look at the job posting below.

Your tasks will include:

• Maintaining high quality of accounting books
• Working alongside a shared service centre responsible for the day-to-day accounting in your designated region You will ensure a timely month-end reporting
• Providing data to external partners regarding statutory financial statements and/or tax returns
• Preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
• Implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Ad hoc tasks and projects to improve processes.

Profile of ideal Accountant:

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
• Several years of experience in accounting
• Accounting certificates (ACCa, CIMA, Tax Advisor) are a big asset
• Experience with GREEK GAAP is a must
• You are hands on, communicative, analytical and result-oriented
• Very fluent in English. Knowledge of Greek is a big plus
• Good knowledge of Oracle is a plus
