Position Summary

As Accountant you will join our dynamic and international finance team in our HQ in Mechelen (Belgium). You will get an overview of the entire accounting process and receive the chance to expand your skills by learning more about our international processes.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Managing balance sheet and profit & loss as well as accounts consolidation and reconciliation
  • Supporting accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT/CIT declarations and statistical reporting for 10 EU countries
  • Providing reports/analysis on a monthly base for other departments
  • Processing accounts payable, bank statements and payments
  • Helping managing vendor accounts

What do we require?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in an accountant role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and eager to learn more
  • Analytical mindset and a high level of ownership
  • Good communication skills and good knowledge of English (Business Proficiency)
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of VAT principles and non-deductible cost are considered an asset
