To join our Finance team in Aartselaar, Belgium, we are currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Your challenge
You will be part of the Finance team, responsible for credit and collections around Europe in an efficient and proactive way. As our A/R Responsible you deliver excellent customer support, following-up on all queries.
More concretely you will
- Interact and follow-up with clients on credit and collections in a timely manner, so overdue invoices are kept to an absolute minimum
- Be the first point of contact for all customer queries regarding invoicing. You provide an excellent service which will enable you to build long term relationships with our customers.
- Create new clients in our different software systems
- Follow-up on open customer ledgers, making sure everything is registered correctly and accurately and spotting any irregularities
- You’ve had a first work experience within accounting and/or Customer Service
- You have a strong interest in finance and you are eager to learn
- You are fluent – both written and spoken – in English, Dutch and French. Any other language is considered a plus
- You have an eye for accuracy and know how to set priorities.
- You are able to work under pressure and can work independently and in a structured manner.
- You have strong administrative and analytical skills
- You know your way around MS Office. Training-on-the job will be provided for our internal software.
- Your communication skills and hands-on mindset enable you to efficiently build productive and professional relationships.
