Introduction

Keysight is the leading EDA company for high-speed/high-frequency EDA. This key role will be the strategy and product owner for our Photonics EDA solution.

Key initiatives/responsibilities

  • Responsible for product management and solution development for the Photonics EDA market
  • Utilize knowledge, familiarity with photonics/optical physics, high speed digital applications, electronic design automation (EDA) tools, to develop business strategies
  • Define workflow solutions
  • Product Planning
  • Drive R&D product backlogs
  • Develop application examples
  • Lead industry partnerships
  • Work with the world-wide field sales team on developing customers
  • Developing customer messaging, and creating/executing on market entry strategies

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded blend of technical and business skills:

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree (Engineering degree preferred), plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with typically 9 to 15 years practical experience.
  • Industry knowledge: Must have familiarity with photonics/optical physics, high speed digital applications, electronic design automation (EDA) tools
  • Possess the ability to synthesize customer requirements into R&D product backlogs, ability to define differentiating solutions
  • Proven experience leading new product introduction
  • Ability to apply products and solutions to drive business opportunities
  • Role requires a technical and entrepreneurial business mindset, understanding of business principles and customer requirements
  • Proven ability to solve complex, high impact program/ process/ project design/ development problems
  • Requires good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
