Application Architect - Level 4 (Deadline 28/07/2021)

PROVISIONAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

The service provider will be requested to perform the following tasks and activities:

• Architecture and design of information systems;

• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks;

• Analysis and development of the integration of different information systems;

• Documentation and implementation of the technical architecture;

• Contribution to the production of software architecture documents;

• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;

• Assistance during relevant parts of the technical testing, analysis, technical documentation and deployment.

All these activities require interactions with business stakeholders and with the IT teams as well as a participation in business and/or functional working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the stakeholders (IT and business).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge and skills as defined in the Service Requirements for an Application Architect (AA) level 4:

• Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture;

• Good knowledge of applications design;

• Good knowledge of modelling tools;

• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;

• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;

• Good knowledge of frontend and backend technologies (.NET Core and Angular), as full stack developer;

• Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus);

• Good knowledge of UI/UX for the development of web applications (responsive design);

• Good redaction skills;

• Ability to give technical presentations;

• Ability to apply high quality standards;

• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design;

• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills;

• Very good command of spoken English;

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Application Architect (AA) level 4 with a minimum:

• Master degree + minimum 11 years of experience;

• 5 years of IT professional experience;

• 3 years of experience in development of information systems;

• 3 years of experience in development of information systems using REST services;

• 3 years of experience in development of information systems using the latest version of .NET Core (e.g. version 5);

• 3 years of experience in development of information systems using the latest version of Angular (e.g. version 10);

• 3 years of experience in development with user interface technologies

(e.g. KendoUI, Typescript);

• 5 years of experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL server, Oracle);

• Experience with web technologies;

• Knowledge of XML;

• Good knowledge of web styling technologies (e.g. SCSS);

• Knowledge of project management methodology is an advantage (e.g. Prince, PMI);

• Experience with SCRUM development is an advantage;

• Experience as full stack developer is an advantage (.NET Core and angular);

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bamboo) is an advantage;

• Experience with IIS web server configuration is an advantage;

• Experience with GIT and Bit Bucket is an advantage;

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is an advantage;

• Knowledge of XBRL is an advantage.
