Role/Responsibilities

As an Associate Director - Product Manager in the Bureau van Dijk Orbis Product Strategy team, you will be working closely with key stakeholders across the sales, marketing, customer support and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives that drive Orbis’ revenue growth.

The Role / Responsibilities:


  • This role is responsible for managing the software development life cycle for a feature or module of our common platform, assessing the market and executing the product strategy through coordination with internal teams, as well as soliciting and implementing internal and external client feedback.
  • Focuses on assessing client needs and feature functionality and implementing those requirements by working directly with UX/UI and engineering to define and develop the product.
  • Writes product specifications/user stories, conducts feature and theme-based market research with clients, and works with engineering to develop the product with limited supervision.
  • Guides, mentors or possibly supervises junior product analysts.
  • Supports the wider product strategy team in assessing the market and defining strategy for that product.
  • Facilitates internal communications and solicit product feedback from internal and external sources.
  • Ensures business suitability and user satisfaction based on product feedback.
  • Assists in providing client product support.
  • May manage Product Analysts.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product analysis or management.
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to work in a cross-functional team and influence decisions.
  • Experience with products in financial, insurance, economics or related areas is preferred.
  • This position may involve occasional business travel
