Job Description


As a Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you are a key member of the
engineering teams in various AWS oriented projects at customers.

You are a good fit if:

You are an expert when it comes to AWS. During your day, you write code for the
infrastructure and deployments, review code written by others, contribute to
architecture discussions and work with stakeholders.
You also share your knowledge with others, guiding them to adopt best practices.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in infrastructure development and workload deployment in AWS
  • Administrative and troubleshooting skills in Linux systems
  • DevSecOps concepts and practices
  • Active use of Infrastructure as Code tools (terraform, ansible,
cloudformation..) together with CI/CD systems (gitlab, jenkins, github …)
  • Source code management, branching and releasing models
  • Good understanding of network protocols, HTTP traffic management, load
balancers, gateways and authentication mechanisms (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS,
OpenID, OAUTH, SAML)
  • Comfortable working closely with product owners using kanban, scrum
methodologies, user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English

Bonus if you have experience across one or more of the following areas:

  • Deployment and management of kubernetes flavors
  • Experience with other public cloud providers
  • Programming (java, python, golang, javascript …)
  • Automated testing strategies of infrastructure and solutions
  • GitOps tools
  • Working understanding of microservice designs, API management
  • Service meshes
  • EFK stack
  • Kubernetes operators
  • Storage systems (Ceph, portworx ...)
  • Hardening and security of kubernetes
  • Kubernetes multi-cluster management
