Equal Plus Consulting has been engaged to search for a Cybersecurity Specialists - Merger & Acquisitions (MA) to work for a client in Kontich, Belgium.

HYBRID – must be able to work on-site part of the week

The role is hybrid (60% onsite).

DESCRIPTION Important

Ability to both coordinate BC/DR exercises as lead such exercises

Travel between different office sites in Belgium is expected.

Travel outside of Belgium is unlikely

Ability to communicate with stakeholders on different levels

Mission

Within Group IT, you will join the IT Security team, whose responsibility it is to identify, control and report IT risks for the whole company.

Your main responsibilities are:

The DR/BC Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies. This role involves assessing risks, conducting impact analyses, and designing plans to ensure the swift recovery of operations in the event of disruptions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Educational and knowledge requirements

Minimum a bachelor’s degree. Business Continuity, Information Technology,

Risk Management or related field

  • Certificates such as CBCP, CISSP, CISA, etc. are an advantage
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience in DR/BC roles or similar positions is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
