Come and play a key part in bringing the LEGO® play experience to kids, families and adult fans of LEGO (AFOL) in Benelux!

The Brand Relations Associate is the heart and executional power of our local brand relations activities, which include PR coordination, influencer activations and supporting our local events. In this role you will be collaborating with our eco-system touchpoints, PR colleagues in Western Europe and external partners (PR and digital agencies, LEGO fans).

  • This role is based in Brasschaat, Belgium (nearby the Dutch border – Breda). We can offer a local Belgian or Dutch contract depending on the country you are leaving in.
  • This is an 8-month maternity cover contract, starting in January 2023. This role can either be offered on a part-time (80%) or full-time (100%) basis. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home.

PR Responsibilities


  • Contribute to and execution of the Benelux PR strategy
  • Implement key PR activities with Brand Managers
  • Building local media relations
  • Handling media requests
  • BR Budget follow up
  • Reporting and analysis (monthly, annual)
Brand Relations Responsibilities


  • LEGO Ambassador Program in Benelux
  • Local contact for LEGO Fan Communities
  • Support media opportunities e.g. LEGO Masters
  • Execution of local Influencer strategy
  • Encouraging collaboration across the LEGO® Eco System (with LEGO Brand Stores &LEGO Discovery Centers)
  • Event Support of both local events and LEGO World Event, the world’s largest LEGO Event. With tasks such as partnership management, material and stock coordination, asset development, reporting, etc.
  • Support the Benelux Marketing team with ad hoc operational projects

The Marketing Department is responsible for crafting and driving consumer demand for the LEGO Group by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing programs that remain grounded in a strong commercial understanding and focus.

In this role you will be joining a passionate and impactful marketing team focusing on the Benelux markets, consisting of Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Relations & Events and Planning & Performance.

Do you have what it takes?


  • Proven experience in PR and/or influencer marketing, with ideally some experience in consumer event coordination
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Great teammate who is able to work independently
  • Hands-on, analytical and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Previous experience working with Content Management Systems is ideal but not a requirement.
  • Proficient in both English and Dutch.
