At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue Brussels team!

The delivery unit of IT systems intends to support its stakeholders, which include among other public and private organizations, National Agencies and Internal units, by delivering digital solutions to support their needs

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Definition of business needs
  • Preparation of business requirements and approval of specifications
  • Management of change requests
  • Management of JIRA tickets (business support)
  • Review of acceptance testing and planning of deliverables
  • Use of dashboards to extract data and prepare statistical products on international actions
  • Reporting of the status of IT modules to stakeholders
  • Preparation of guidelines and training material for stakeholders and for the general public
  • Improving the user-friendliness of IT modules interface and readability of guidance documentation
  • Participation in business requirements documents and other relevant documents
  • Interaction with the business analysts, users, project leaders and IT developers
  • Participation in governance meetings at operational level
  • Participation in working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.


Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • At least 9 years of professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of specific expertise in business analysis
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.
  • At least 1 year of experience with:
    • Analysis/modelling tools and techniques (e.g. use case diagram, state diagram, BPMN etc.).
    • Wiki and collaborative sites
  • Knowledge of following tools: Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, MS Teams
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile).
  • Ability to test for acceptance the IT deliverables
  • Ability to provide second or third-level support to users’ enquiries
  • Ability to work with extensive datasets and good knowledge of Excel to produce statistical products and assist evidence-based policy-making
  • Fluency in English, good command of French or German is an asset.
