Job Description

A CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Designer is responsible for creating precise technical drawings and designs for various projects using CAD software.
These designs are crucial for manufacturing, construction, and other industries requiring detailed specifications.
CAD Designers work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to translate conceptual designs into executable plans, ensuring that the products meet design standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Responsibilities:
Develop accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Work with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure design alignment with specifications.
Revise designs based on feedback or new requirements and ensure all modifications are properly documented.
Check the accuracy and consistency of designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements:
A degree or certification in engineering, architecture, industrial design, or a related field. (Bachelor’s degree preferred, but an associate’s degree or technical diploma may be acceptable based on experience.)
Prior experience as a CAD Designer or in a related field, typically ranging from 1-5 years.
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of previous CAD design work may be required. Technical Skills:
