Agropur is looking for a Member Capital Coordinator, whose main responsibility is to act as an expert in the capital system, maintain up-to-date personal and confidential information for all Agropur member-owners, participate in managing member capital (patronage dividends, redemptions, etc.), oversee the management of members’ RRSPs, and contribute to the development of the IT system.

- Salary range 003: 61,400$ to 76,800$ (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.)
More specifically, the Member Capital Coordinator will:
- Act as a resource person for matters related to member capital (farm transfers, control acquisitions, memberships, withdrawals, or other capital-related activities).
- Perform monthly tasks for Board approval and prepare approval lists.
- Carry out all transactions related to member shares in accordance with Agropur’s bylaws and regulations.
- Actively participate in the analysis, optimization, and development of processes and the capital IT module (in-house program), in collaboration with IT.
- Be responsible for the entire RRSP process for members, ensuring that RRSP contribution requests from producers are processed and sent to the trusts;
- Analyze requests and needs from cooperative advisors, members, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare test scenarios, perform acceptance testing of IT changes, and ensure the implementation of updates to the capital module.
- Collaborate, provide expertise, and actively participate in special team projects, including the overhaul of the member capital management system.
- Take part in integrating new members resulting from current or future mergers.
- Write and/or update work procedures and user guides.
- Understand and apply Agropur’s Bylaws and Regulations in daily work and when preparing information for Board approval.
- Supervise the RRSP clerk’s tasks during RRSP season.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or College diploma.
- 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to actively participate in process and technology changes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English (English is required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces).
