Communication Intern

Are you interested in communicating, in the social media hemisphere at an international level?

Phrenos is a Brussels-based consultancy company that has been active since 2010 in the management of event communication, as well as in the development and implementation of public affairs strategies.

We are looking for a bold and creative individual who wants to gain valuable experience during a 3-month internship and join our communication team. Phrenos manages several projects, mainly focusing on development issues linked to Africa, sustainability, the role of youth in shaping policy amongst others.

When: As soon as possible

What: Communication and social media intern (English & French speaking)

We are looking for someone who can support the communication manager in identifying and posting engaging content for our social media feeds and interact with online audiences to increase engagement and followers. If you are interested in decrypting social media analytical data to be able update clients on the status of various social media campaigns, that would be a plus.

Furthermore, the communication intern will help in drafting creative, sharp and interesting content for a community of international stakeholders. This will enable you to gain experience in handling and managing platforms such as Mailchimp as well as becoming with the management of the back-end of a website.

Responsibilities include:

• Draft content for newsletters, social media posts and websites
• Support the communication manager in regards to client relations: presentations, outlining workplan, strategies etc..
• Upload social media content on various platforms and manage online community relations
• Produce regular reports on social media performance.
• Use Google Analytics (or similar) to produce reports on referrals website and conversions attributable to social content
