De ORAC GROUP, bestaande uit ORAC NV en NEAFORMA NV, vormt een dynamische familiale KMO met een hart voor interieurdecoratie en industriële kunststoftoepassingen. Vanuit haar hoofdzetel in Oostende ontwikkelt, produceert en verkoopt ORAC hoogwaardige interieuroplossingen in 5 productgroepen: plinten, indirecte verlichting, multifunctionele lijsten, kroonlijsten en decoratieve elementen in kunststof. ORAC telt meer dan 300 medewerkers (Oostende, Slovakije en Rusland) en is actief in meer dan 90 landen.


what will you do?

As a comp en ben specialist, you join the HR team of 2 HR business partners and report to the HR manager. You are the first hire in a specialized HR field. Your job will be focused on BE employment systems in a first phase and will gradually shift towards a more international focus.

You will co-develop the pay strategy, for both blue and white collar workers.

  • You draw up an international pay structure per function family/domain.
  • You optimize and harmonize extra-legal benefits and variable pay systems (including fleet).
  • You make our pay strategy future proof, fit for a fast growth with agile and flexible and digital mindset.
  • You collect external benchmark data and conduct continuous evaluations.

You consult on legal affairs

  • You (co-) draw up CLA’s and shine your expert light on ongoing projects
  • You write and launch policies
  • You are responsible for all collective insurances: audit, review, draw up,…
  • You harmonize labour contracts throughout the world, holding strong to ORAC principles, but locally adapted where needed.

You play a key role in the budget process and – follow-up

  • Consult thoroughly in annual pay cycle and help the ORAC team to guard a transparent and honest pay system.
  • Translate short and long term growth in personnel budgets.

You advise hiring manager in specific comp & ben questions or cases.

Who are you?

  • First and foremost; you are interested in becoming an ORACIAN and are mesmerized by our story.
  • You have business acumen, can understand the challenges of ORAC and its (line) managers and adopt communication accordingly.
  • You are a true service partner and understand the dynamics of our decentral organization. You understand as no other the purpose of providing frameworks to employees.
  • You have proven comp & ben experience, preferably in an advisory role (>5years).
  • You understand Belgian labour code (and tax systems). Experience in a global/international company is a very strong plus.
  • You have positive spirit and a long-term orientation.
  • You speak English. Good command of French is a plus, but not a must.
  • You love to pick up trends in your field and use market sensors.
  • You are a self-starter and have project management skills.
