To drive our ambitions in this rapidly growing and evolving market, we have established a specialized division, the "New Energies division," focused on Hydrogen Storage, Fuel Cell Stack, and Integrated Hydrogen Systems.We are currently recruiting a skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at the Hydrogen Pressure Vessel Development Centre in Genk, Belgium.Responsibilities And ActivitiesDesign Responsibilities and Activities:
  • Create preliminary CAD design drafts.
  • Validate the final CAD drawings.
  • Run, process, and analyze standard mechanical simulations.
Process Responsibilities And Activities
  • Identify key characteristics for each step of the production process at the prototype level.
  • Define the possible process flow chart.
  • Formalize technical specifications for each process step within development projects.
  • Lead and support the production of prototype vessels.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of equipment.
  • Identify required materials and products (prototypes, semi-finished, and finished products).
  • Specify necessary purchases from suppliers for the project.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory and project team.
Safety
  • Prioritize a "Safety First" mindset in all operations.
  • Ensure equipment and resources meet safety requirements.
  • Maintain vigilance towards safety for workshop personnel.
  • Report any identified safety risks.
Quality
  • Adhere to procedures, instructions, and forms related to quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with the quality and metrology team for quality checks on the product.
  • Analyze quality reports.
  • Participate in 8D processes.
Profile RequirementsPersonal Background:
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Materials, or Composites.
  • Experience in Composite Design and Composite Winding processing.
  • Develop and maintain relevant expertise, capitalize on experience, and share knowledge.
  • Handle technical and scientific literature, including patents.
  • Good knowledge of polymers, plastics processing, and testing& analytical techniques.
Skills And Competences
  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective communication, leadership, training, and motivation skills.
  • Strong team spirit.
