Join our dynamic contract logistics team in our yet-to-open Beringen site! As a Continuous Improvement Site Green Belt, you will drive operational excellence, implement Lean methodologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Role

You will lead the implementation of our internal Production System (PS) strategy, ensuring efficient and effective continuous improvement across our logistics sites. Working closely with local management, you will optimize processes, empower teams, and deliver impactful results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement and sustain Lean Six Sigma, SQCDP boards, 5S, visual management, and process control tools
  • Train, coach, and support employees in continuous improvement methodologies
  • Lead and execute PS projects, collaborating across teams
  • Promote a culture where continuous improvement becomes second nature
  • Support management in developing expertise in Lean Thinking
  • Maintain CI documentation, track DMAIC savings, and report progress
  • Ensure alignment with Kuehne+Nagel Excellence standards
  • Identify solutions that add value to customer operations

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Master’s degree in logistics/business economics or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in an operational role within the supply chain environment
  • Proven practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, project management, and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and coaching skills across all organizational levels
  • High motivation with the ability to inspire and engage teams
  • Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
