To join our Industry South teams, located in Fleurusand Ans, we are actively looking for a Contract Manager. A contract falls into your hands?You are the right person for the job!

In short, what is your role? You ensure that the Project Management teams are fully aware of their contractual obligations and their consequences.
  • you study, control and minimize contractual risks
  • you attend contract information meetings related to the contracts: you advise the teams and answer their questions. If issues are raised, you help resolving them
  • you are responsible for the processes/procedures to ensure contractual compliance of the commitment: you define them, make sure they are respected, but you also identify any non-compliance!
  • a contract amendment? You bring in your expertise on contractual implications: you ensure that these amendments are drafted and approved by the client
  • all legal documents are properly processed and updated
In Addition To The Team In Charge Of The Projects’ Management For Which You Follow The Contracts, You Are Also In Contact With Many Other People

Your relationships.
  • you work closely with the teams in charge of calls for tender, project management, purchase management
  • clients’ Contract Managers: you are in regular communication with them to maintain a good working relationship, and to work on the resolution of any problems
  • you report directly to the Direction
What do you need to join our team?

Combined With Your Extensive Experience In Contract Management In An Industrial Field, You Also Have The Following Knowledge

Naturally, you have a master’s degree in law (or equivalent by experience).
  • FIDIC/LOGIC standard contracts (essential!)
  • Belgian law
  • public and private contracts
  • management of technical, legal and financial projects
  • fluency in English, Dutch and French; including legal and contractual vocabulary in these languages
Your soft skills: field approach, team spirit, rigour, and ability to work independently (organisation!)
