OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
In charge to design the applicative software of the Traction Systems, Auxiliary converters or HESOP’s (by digital or electronic means and relay circuits), to guarantee the QCD objectives of the Engineering Department.

Organisational Reporting

Hierarchical reporting to the Traction Applicative Software Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Validate the Control Command estimated costs and workload

Accountable of the implementation of the DFQ rules (specifications, tools of design, Design Reviews and associated templates), daily, in the Traction Control activity on the Projects

Guarantee the continuous improvement of standards and processes.

Guarantee the application of the rules and methodologies for Software development process

Guarantee the capitalization of the experience feedback (REX)

Promote, in the Projects, the use of existing solutions, and the re-use, every time it is possible, of these developments already validated within the framework of previous Projects,

Define the Control Command content, the tasks, and their planning for the project,

Produce and broadcast monthly the performance indicators of the Control Command process and set up the actions for improvement plan.

Manage the subcontracting relations according current legislation and sourcing rules

Participate actively in all improvement actions of ALSTOM

Guarantee the Health, Environment and Safety (EHS).

Innovation: Guarantee the capitalization of the experience feedback (REX) and participate actively in all improvement actions of ALSTOM
