MISSIONS:

1. Provide excellent customers and suppliers service with focused customer-driven attitude, optimal information sharing and highlighting our business expertise.

2. Ensure quality of service contributing to the perception of the company as a very performing group, able to anticipate its suppliers & customers needs and to provide flexible and tailor-made solutions.

3. Follow-up contracts in line with the service level target.

4. Contribute to the team spirit and the internal communication.

OBJECTIVES:

FILES’ FOLLOW-UP:

1. Guarantee the smooth files’ monitoring from the contract conclusion by the trader up to the its closing.

2. Understand contracts’ key elements (contract’s clauses, how is the material treated ? what are the logistics terms ? etc)

3. Respect the operating procedures :

  • Administrative follow-up
  • Logistic follow-up: Road, sea and air shipments organization
  • Financial follow-up:

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

1. Show proactivity and anticipation of our suppliers and customers needs

2. Be able to provide flexible and tailor-made solutions

3. Daily contacts:

  • Trading partners (c ustomers and suppliers°
  • Environmental administration: notification file follow-up (waste transport permits)
  • Carriers and their specificities (who is doing what)
  • Stockists
  • Other external partners such as customs, representation offices, etc.

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS AND TEAM WORK:

1. Develop and optimize relationships with the Customer Assistants, Operations Manager, Traders, the accounting department, and other group entities, in order to increase quality of service with our external partners.

2. Joint work with traders on their respective contracts.

3. All assistants are expected to be polyvalent and able to be the backup of each other in the team.

BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

1. Develop expert’ skills that are the specificities of our company.

2.Have very good knowledge in matter of

  • The rules of transboundary shipments of waste
  • The rules of ADR and IMO shipments
  • customs
  • etc

Profiel

  • You have minimum 3 years experience in customer service with road and/or sea freight forwarding operations.
  • You are dynamic and would like to express yourself in an international environment.
  • You love teamwork, like to demonstrate initiative with continuous improvement in mind.
  • You are able to multi-task, to manage unexpected events and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills in English and French, any other language is an asset (Dutch, German, …).
  • You have very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
